Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, adds an extra layer of security to your account. A one-time code from the Google Authenticator app is used to confirm important actions.
Even if someone gets hold of your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the code from your mobile device.
Once 2FA is enabled, you’ll need a Google Authenticator code when logging in, making a payout, changing your password, or disabling 2FA. You don’t need to set up verification for each action separately — 2FA protects them all at once.
Enter your email and password or select «Continue with Google». Then enter the one-time code from Google Authenticator.
Choose a payout method and enter the amount and payout details. Confirm the payout using the code sent to your email, then enter the code from the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. You’ll have 10 minutes to do this.
You have five attempts to enter the correct code. If all five attempts fail, payouts will be unavailable for 30 minutes for security reasons. You’ll receive an email letting you know that payouts have been temporarily suspended. After 30 minutes, you can try again.
You’ll also need a Google Authenticator code when changing your password or disabling 2FA.
1. Go to «Dashboard» → «Edit profile» → «Security».
2. Click «Enable».
3. Enter the code from the email you receive.
4. Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device and tap «Add a code» (or the «+» at the bottom).
5. Scan the QR code or manually enter the code shown on the screen.
6. Once set up, a code for logging in to the platform will appear in your Google Authenticator list. It will be labeled «Lava.Top: *account email*» and will change every 60 seconds.
Enter this code in the field on lava.top to confirm the setup.
Done! Two-factor authentication is now enabled.
From now on, you’ll need a one-time code from Google Authenticator every time you log in to your account.
1. Go to «Dashboard» → «Edit profile» → «Security».
2. Click «Disable».
3. Enter the code from the email you receive. Then enter the code from the Google Authenticator app.
Done! Two-factor authentication is now disabled.
Make sure that:
- automatic date and time are enabled on your phone;
- you enter the code as soon as it refreshes — each code is only valid for a limited time;
- you’ve selected the code for your lava.top account in Google Authenticator.
